Construction is well underway now on Northwestern University’s new music building on the Evanston lakefront and here’s a video look inside with the lead architect.

Architect James Goettsch spoke with Crain’s Chicago Business about the project.

    Did the architect really just say that northwestern wanted to show chicago as the view in the performance space; that you  can better attract a student by showcasing chicago as the backdrop rather than evanston? (around the 1 minute mark)   Wow……

    1. Noway, he didn’t say that

      He was saying that Chicago's skyline looks impressive from a distance and it is ok to visit but I wouldn't want to live there or go to school there.
