Theft

3300 Central

A blue Fisher bicycle, left unattended in a business parking lot in the 3300 block of Central Street, was stolen around 7:20 p.m. yesterday.

Criminal Damage

800 Brummel

Someone damaged the front windshield of a 2009 Dodge in an apartment parking space in the 800 block of Brummel Street between 8 p.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. yesterday.

Battery

1101 Davis

Richard E. Moore, 29, of 6940 S. Calumet, Chicago, was arrested at 1101 Davis St. at 9:52 a.m. yesterday and charged with battery. He is due in court on Oct. 19 at 9 a.m.

Traffic

1300 Ridge

Gustavo Martinez, 38, of 3311 W. Belmont Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1300 Ridge Ave. at 1:03 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Oct. 16 at 10:30 a.m.

900 Dodge

Louis J. Weathers, 82, of 1728 Brown Ave., was arrested at 900 Dodge Ave. today at 12:58 a.m. and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Oct. 29 at 9 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
