A 57-year-old man reported seeing a tent he purchased last year appear suddenly in a neighbor’s yard in the 1900 block of Grey Avenue, but his neighbor denied stealing it. This among stories in today’s crime bulletin from Evanston police.

THEFTS

1900 Grey

An E-Z Up tent disappeared from the yard of a 57-year-old resident of the 1900 block of Grey Avenue and reappeared in the yard of a neighbor who denies stealing it. The victim, who said he bought the tent last year for about $200, requested no further police followup.

2400 Howard

Alcoholic products were stolen from the Jewel-Osco grocery store in the 2400 block of Howard Street around 12:24 p.m. yesterday.

600 Chicago

Household goods were taken from the Walgreens Pharmacy in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue at 2:19 p.m. yesterday.

900 Dodge

Miscellaneous items were stolen from the Walgreens Pharmacy in the 900 block of Dodge Avenue at 4:10 p.m. yesterday.

1600 Sherman

Alcoholic products were stolen from the Target department store in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue around noon yesterday.

500 Lee

A bicycle was taken from a secured area of a home in the 500 block of Lee Street between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 p.m. yesterday.

1800 Main

A Granite Peak Roadster bicycle was removed from a bike rack in the 1800 block of Main Street between 6:50 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

1700 Orrington

A silver Schwinn bicycle was stolen from a bike rack in the 1700 block of Orrington Avenue between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. yesterday.

2100 Colfax

A catalytic converter was removed from a 2006 Toyota in the 2100 block of Colfax Street between 7 p.m. on July 23 and 9:45 a.m. the following morning.

900 Sherman

A package was stolen from a home in the 900 block of Sherman Avenue between 6:12 p.m. and 6:41 p.m. yesterday.

600 Sherman

A package was stolen from a home in the 600 block of Sherman Avenue between 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. on July 16.

BATTERY

120 Custer

Eric D. Patton, 27, of 549 Sheridan Road, was arrested at 120 Custer Ave. at 3:07 p.m. Tuesday and charged with domestic battery.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

1700 Keeney

Tires were punctured on a 2017 Dodge in the 1700 block of Keeney Street between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 3:03 p.m. Wednesday.

1800 Grant

Someone broke a glass picnic table in the yard of a home in the 1800 block of Grant Street between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday.

OTHER

1228 Oak

Shane B. Pratt, 40, of 1228 Oak Ave., was arrested at that address at 12:57 a.m. today and charged with violation of an order of protection.

TRAFFIC

1224 Dempster

Kevin P. Arosena, 20, of 2144 N. Lincoln Park West, Chicago, was arrested at 1224 Dempster St. at 6:44 a.m. Monday and charged with a traffic violation.

1925 Green Bay

Jamere M. Gregory, 32, of 1923 Asbury Ave., was arrested at 1925 Green Bay Road at 8:56 p.m. Sunday and charged with a traffic violation.
