The agenda for Wednesday night’s Zoning Committee of the Plan Commission meeting is out — and it gives reason for cheer among beer lovers.

The panel will be considering amendments to Evanston’s zoning ordinance that would add micro-distilleries, micro-breweries, brew pubs and tasting rooms as special uses in business and commercial districts.

Under the proposal, micro-distilleries and micro-breweries would also be permited in transitional manufacturing and industrial districts.

The committee meets at 7 p.m in the City Council Chambers at the Civic Center.
