Update 7:10 a.m.: The drivers of two cars that collided at Ridge Avenue and Mulford Street in Evanston about 6:20 a.m today have been transported by fire department ambulances to nearby St. Francis Hospital.
The accident blocked the southbound lanes of Ridge Avenue for a time this morning.
No details yet on how the accident occurred.
