Adeline’s Room, an Evanston store that sells clothing and gear for babies, celebrated its opening at a new location downtown Wednesday evening.

Mayor Elizabeth Tisdahl was on hand to cut the ribbon held by store owner Christine Kim at the new shop at 602 Davis St.

They were joined at the event by, from left, customers Judy Chudak and her son Kyle, store employee Samantha Ruda, and customer Laura Gilbert, with her daughter Lizzie.

Adeline’s Room previously had a shop in the Chicago-Main shopping district.
