800 Emerson

A Dyson air purifier that had been delivered to an apartment common area in the 800 block of Emerson Street was stolen between noon Monday and 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

2100 Dempster

A white Ford truck that was rented from a U Haul facility in the 2100 block of Dempster Street was never returned and was considered stolen at 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 24.

1700 Sherman

A bicycle was stolen from the sidewalk in the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue around 10:04 a.m. on Sept. 26.

100 Asbury

Kwar D. Boog, 30, of 7309 N. Damen Ave., Chicago, was arrested at the CVS Pharmacy in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue around 9:10 p.m. yesterday and charged with stealing hygiene products. He is due in court on Nov. 13 at 9 a.m.

Criminal Damage

2200 Oakton

Someone damaged the rear bumper of a 2011 Toyota in a business parking lot in the 2200 block of Oakton Street shortly after midnight yesterday.


1300 Ridge

Oscar J. Hernandez, 26, of 2541 S. St. Louis Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1300 Ridge Ave. at 1:11 p.m. on Sept. 25 and charged with a traffic violation.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
