Items containing alcohol were removed twice last night at the Target in downtown Evanston. This among stories in today’s crime bulletin from Evanston police.

THEFT

1600 Sherman

Two incidents involving the theft of products containing alcohol were noted at the Target store in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue, at 7:38 p.m. and again at 7:54 p.m. yesterday.

TRAFFIC

1321 Oakton

Maximiliano Mancera-Soto, 41, of 5632 Clark St., Chicago, was arrested at 1321 Oakton St. at 3:39 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute an assumption of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
