Shorefront Legacy Center will screen the documentary “Alice’s Ordinary People” that profiles the life of Evanston native and civil rights activist Alice Tregay at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19.

Tregay’s story involves her early advocacy for equal housing and school integration, work with Operation Breadbasket and Operation Push, political activism in mayoral and presidential elections and work with the Soul Children of Chicago.
