All four wheels and tires were stolen from a Honda in an apartment parking space in the 500 block of Sheridan Square. Also, three bicycles were reported stolen. These among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Theft

500 Sheridan

Four wheels and tires were taken from a 2019 Honda in an apartment parking space in the 500 block of Sheridan Square between 9 p.m. Thursday and 7:30 a.m. Friday.

600 Clark

Two bicycles secured to a bike rack in the 600 block of Clark Street were stolen between 4 p.m. Wednesday and 9 p.m. Thursday.

1800 Sheridan

A bicycle secured to a bike rack in the 1800 block of Sheridan Road was stolen between 7 p.m.and 7:36 p.m. Friday.

1600 Chicago

Alcoholic products were taken from the Whole Foods grocery store in the1600 block of Chicago Avenue around 3:15 p.m.yesterday.

100 Asbury

Medical equipment was taken from the CVS Pharmacy in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue around 8:30 a.m. Friday.

1128 Chicago

Kyla S. O’Neil, 34, of 1705 W. Albion Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1128 Chicago Ave. at 6:09 p.m. Tuesday and charged with retail theft. She is due in court on June 24 at 10:30 a.m.

Battery

1710 Orrington

Matthew A. Harris, 30, of 1458 Chicago Ave., was arrested at 1710 Orrington Ave. at 10:57 p.m. Friday and charged with aggravated battery.

355 Ridge

Benjamin J. Rozier, 31, of  821 Mulford St., was arrested at 355 Ridge Ave. at 8 p.m. Tuesday and charged with aggravated battery.

Burglary

1700 Crain

A shattered glass door was evidence of an attempt to enter a home in the 1700 block of Crain Street between 7 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Saturday.

Criminal Damage

2100 Howard

There were pry marks noticed at an apartment in the 2100 block of Howard Street at 8:12 p.m. Friday.

2400 Emerson

Someone damaged the circuit breaker box at a home in the 2400 block of Emerson Street around 1 a.m. Saturday.

1700 Dodge

Someone damaged a recycling bin in an alley in the 1700 block of Dodge Avenue shortly after 8 p.m. yesterday.

700 Howard

There were several dents on the driver’s door and a shattered mirror on a 2016 Ford in the 700 block of Howard Street inflicted between 12:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. Saturday.

Other

Dodge at Lee

Jonathan N. Abbott, 21, of 1624 Fowler Ave., was arrested at Dodge Avenue and Lee Street at 6:20 p.m. Saturday and charged with unlawful use of a weapon.

Shots Heard

1700 Payne

Gunshots were reported in the 1700 block of Payne Street at 10:12 p.m. Saturday. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
