2000 Dobson

A suspect, driving a vehicle, displayed a handgun to the driver of another vehicle in the 2000 block of Dobson Street between 3 p.m. and 4:42 p.m.  Friday.

1100 Greenleaf

Ricardo L. Coates, 56, of 7648 N. Paulina St., Chicago, was arrested at 1100 Greenleaf St. at 2:53 p.m. Saturday and charged with aggravated assault. He is due in court on Dec. 26 at 10:30 a.m.

Battery

1307 Oak

Hubert G. Lewis, III, of 1307 Oak Ave., was arrested at that address at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on Nov. 22 at 9:30 a.m.

Ashland at Lake

Paul Victor McGee, 63, of 1921 Grey Ave., was arrested at Ashland Avenue and Lake Street at 11:57 p.m. Friday and charged with battery. He is due in court on Nov. 22 at 9:30 a.m.

Burglary

400 South Boulevard

A burglar accessed an unlocked 2004 Toyota in an apartment parking space in the 400 block of South Boulevard at 9:26 p.m. yesterday.

1200 Michigan

Cash was stolen from an unlocked 2015 Acura in the 1200 block of Michigan Avenue between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

Criminal Damage

2400 Howard

Someone shattered the window of a 2011 Toyota in the 2400 block of Howard Street between 12:05 p.m. and 12:33 p.m.  Thursday.

1600 Ridge

Someone slashed the tire of a vehicle in the 1600 block of Ridge Avenue between Nov. 5 and 2 p.m. Saturday.

117 Callan

James Ross Weber, 30, of 3821 Ashley Court, Rolling Meadows, was arrested at 117 Callan Ave. at 6:31 p.m. Thursday and charged with a violation of the pedestrian-under-the-influence ordinance.  He is due in court on Dec. 15 at 9 a.m.

Robbery

1100 Howard

A robber forced an employee to open the safe at a restaurant in the 1100 block of Howard Street at 4:15 a.m. on Friday and fled with $1,250.

Theft

2400 Howard

Someone stole alcoholic products from a grocery store in the 2400 block of Howard Street at 2:34 p.m.  Saturday.

400 Asbury

Someone stole food from a gas station in the 400 block of Asbury Avenue at 6:06 p.m. Thursday.

600 Davis

Brian G. Gaines, 23, of 620 Roger Ave., Kenilworth, was arrested at 600 Davis St. at 3:50 p.m. Saturday and charged with theft. He is due in court on Dec. 6 at 9 a.m.

Traffic

1202 Church

Xavier Lamar Frye, 29, of 1549 W. Birchwood Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1202 Church St. at 8:22 p.m. Friday and charged with driving under the influence.

901 Ridge

Lawrence A. Henry, 37, of 1827 Ashland Ave., was arrested at 901 Ridge Ave. at 7:36 a.m. yesterday and charged with driving under the influence.

2209 Oakton

Oscar Orozio, 32, of 421 N. Dodge Ave., was arrested at 2209 Oakton St. at 5:30 a.m. yesterday and charged with driving under the influence.

1700 Oakton

Cortez Lemar Palmer, 33, of 3148 W. Palmer St. was arrested at 1700 Oakton St. at 5:59 p.m. Tuesday and charged with driving under the influence.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
