An altercation between two northbound drivers in the 2300 block of Green Bay Road resulted in  damage to the hood of a 2015 Subaru. This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

2300 Green Bay

The hood was damaged on a 2015 Subaru after an altercation involving two northbound drivers in the 2300 block of Green Bay Road around 6 p.m. yesterday.

Burglary

1000 Wesley

Cash was taken from an unlocked 2011 Ford in the 1000 block of Wesley Avenue between 5 p.m. Tuesday and 8:40 a.m. yesterday.

Shots Heard

Dewey at Greenleaf

Gunshots were reported near Dewey Avenue and Greenleaf Street last night around midnight. Police checked the area but found nothing.

Theft

600 Davis

Miscellaneous merchandise was taken from a retail establishment in the 600 block of Davis Street at 2:50 p.m. yesterday.

101 Asbury

Ava L. Lindsey, 48, of 1400 W. Greenleaf Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 101 Asbury Ave. at 10:34 a.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. She is due in court on Sept. 3 at 9 a.m.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
