The National Weather Service says we have a 70% chance of snow today and an 80% chance of it tonight.

Edgar Cano, who runs snow operations for the City of Evanston, says a lake effect storm could give us about an inch of snow today and tonight. And a fast moving low pressure system blowing in from Alberta could bring another inch or so overnight.

Cano says crews are on patrol now, plowing and spreading as needed.

And he says the odds are we’ll get some snow every day from now through Tuesday.
