Music Theater Works has announced it will open its 2018 season with “The Pirates of Penzance” in June, followed by “Anything Goes” in August, “Judy Garland: Come Rain or Come Shine” in October and “Into the Woods” in December.

The resident professional not-for-profit theater company, formerly known as Light Opera Works, is currently producing “Duke Ellington’s Greatest Hits” through Oct. 15 and will stage “Peter Pan” in December to wrap up this year’s season.

The Duke Ellington and Judy Garland concerts will be at Nichols Concert Hall in Evanston. All other productions are at the company’s home venue, Cahn Auditorium in Evanston.
