A number of mailboxes were found damaged at an apartment complex in the 1500 block of Hinman Avenue. This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Criminal Damage

1500 Hinman

Mailboxes were found damaged yesterday morning around 6 a.m. at an apartment common area in the 1500 block of Hinman Avenue. 


2400 Oakton

Food items were taken from a gas station in the 2400 block of Oakton Street shortly after midnight today.

1600 Sherman

Stereo equipment was stolen from a store in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue around 12:30 p.m. yesterday.

1600 Simpson

A purse was removed from behind the counter at a restaurant in the 1600 block of Simpson Street around 12:17 p.m. yesterday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
