The cultural fund supports projects conducted in Evanston by Evanston not-for-profit arts organizations and individual artists who live in Evanston.

Organizations with operating incomes over $100,000 may request up to $4,000 while individual artists and organizations with operating incomes less than $100,000 may request up to $2,500.

Arts projects must serve the City's residents. To assist those who want to submit an application, a free grant-writing workshop will be offered at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, in room 106 of the Noyes Cultural Arts Center, 927 Noyes St., Evanston.

The Evanston Cultural Fund Grant Program is a program of the Cultural Arts Division, a division of the City of Evanston Parks/Forestry & Recreation Department, and the Evanston Arts Council. It is supported by the City of Evanston and partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency. For more information, call 847-448-8260.
