Teens interested in becoming a summer aquatics counselor can learn the ropes and strokes at the new Counselor in Training–Aquatic Camp.

This specialized Evanston Recreation camp for those ages 14 to 17 meets half a day for four weeks, starting June 16 or July 14.

By shadowing experienced counselors as they work, the younger counselors in training will learn to teach basic aquatic skills, from tubing to waterskiing and fishing.

The fee for the Counselor in Training camp is $175 for residents and $227 for nonresidents. For more information, call 847-866-2913.
