A Chicago man who had just withdrawn cash from an ATM said he was confronted by a man with a knife who took the cash near Howard Street and Asbury Avenue. This among stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Robbery

Howard at Asbury

A 44-year-old Chicago man was the victim of a robber who confronted him with a knife and demanded $705 in cash that the victim had just withdrawn from an ATM. The robbery occurred about 1:15 p.m. at Howard Street and Asbury Avenue.

Battery

1703 Orrington

Maurice E. Thomas, 52, of 2121 Dewey Ave., was arrested at 1703 Orrington Ave. at 1 p.m. Saturday and charged with battery. He is due in court on Feb. 4 at 9 a.m.

1709 Grey

Terrence D. Wade, 29, of 1709 Grey Ave., was arrested at that address at 11:49 a.m. yesterday and charged with domestic battery.

Burglary

Davis at Dodge

Someone smashed the side window of a 2014 Toyota near Davis Street and Dodge Avenue between 10 p.m. Friday and 7:45 a.m. Saturday and took documents.

Someone smashed the side window of a 2014 Jeep near Davis Street and Dodge Avenue between 12:30 a.m. and 8:17 a.m. Saturday and stole photo equipment and miscellaneous mechandise.

2500 Central Park

Someone broke a glass window at a church in the 2500 block of Central Park Avenue between 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday. Nothing was reported missing.

2400 Ridgeway

A burglar stole cash from an unlocked 2014 Toyota in the 2400 block of Ridgeway Avenue between 6:30 p.m. Friday and noon Saturday.

2200 Orrington

A burglar forced open a door to the garage of a home in the 2200 block of Orrington Avenue between 3 p.m. Dec. 22 and noon Wednesday. Nothing was reported missing.

900 Gaffield

An open window provided access for a burglar to a home in the 900 block of Gaffield Place between 2 p.m. on Dec. 15 and 8:30 p.m. yesterday A gaming system was reported missing.

Criminal Trespass

3312 Hartzell

Anne F. Nash, 48, of 3312 Hartzell St., was arrested at that address at 9:49 p.m. yesterday and charged with trespass on real property. She is due in court on Feb. 4 at 9 a.m.

1740 Orrington

Yoko M. Rodgers, 38, address unknown, was arrested at 1740 Orrington Ave. at 9:47 p.m. Saturday and charged with trespass on real property. A court date has been set for  Feb. 4 at 9 a.m.

Drugs

808 Sheridan

Terrance J. Hogan, 33, of 9215 Kingston Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 808 Sheridan Road at 12:05 a.m. yesterday and charged with possession of a controlled substance

1740 Orrington

Artelle J. Bailey, 30, of 5603 S. Justine St., Chicago, was arrested at 1740 Orrington Ave. at 4:19 p.m. Saturday and charged with disorderly conduct. He is due in court on Feb. 4 at 1:30 p.m.

Theft

1100 Chicago

A shoplifter stole food and alcoholic products from the Jewel-Osco grocery store in the 1100 block of Chicago Avenue around 2:35 p.m. yesterday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
