An armed robbery attempt occurred last night at a restaurant in the 700 block of Main Street. This among stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

700 Main

A robber, who implied he had a weapon, tried to hold up a Mexican restaurant in the 700 block of Main Street at 11:23 p.m. yesterday, but nothing was taken, police said.

2006 Brummel

Amanda Vazquez, 21, of 3814 S. 59th St., Cicero, was arrested at 2006 Brummel St. at 4:15 a.m. today and charged with violating a city noise ordinance. She is due in court on Dec. 1 at 9 a.m.

Theft

800 Greenleaf

A bicycle locked to a bike rack was stolen in the 800 block of Greenleaf Street between 8 a.m. and 5:20 p.m. yesterday.

900 Wesley

A silver 2006 Lexus was stolen from the 900 block of Wesley Avenue between 7:30 a.m. and 6:34 p.m. yesterday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
