An Evanston man was arrested for allegedly pulling a knife on a customer at a Chase Bank ATM on McDaniel Avenue. This among stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Assault

1454 Elmwood

Mario A. Rojas, 36, of 2306 Foster St., was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 9:01 a.m. Saturday and charged with aggravated assault of a customer at the Chase Bank ATM at 1901 McDaniel Ave. Police said that Rojas pulled a knife on a 53-year-old male victim while he was making an ATM transaction on April 20. Rojas is due in court on July 2 at 9 a.m.

Battery

Fowler at Nathaniel

Kahlil D.Watson, 22, of 3146 W. Franklin Blvd., Chicago, was arrested at Fowler Avenue and Nathaniel Place at 7:06 p.m. Sunday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on June 26 at 9:30 a.m.

Burglary

2300 Ridge

A bicycle was taken from an unlocked garage at a home in the 2300 block of Ridge Avenue between 9 p.m. Friday and 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

Theft

1600 Sherman

Someone stole an alcoholic product at the Target store in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue around 8:40 a.m. yesterday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
