A 27-year-old Chicago man who was wanted for an alleged parole violation, was arrested yesterday in the stairwell of the city parking garage in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue after an altercation with police. This among stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Battery

1618 Sherman

Roderick X. P. Walker, 27, of 1400 W. Greenleaf Ave., Chicago, was arrested in the stairwell of the city parking lot at 1618 Sherman Ave. at 7:15 a.m. yesterday and charged with battery after resisting questioning by police about an outstanding warrant for an alleged parole violation.

640 Hinman

Mark H. Cable, 43, of 640 Hinman Ave., was arrested at that address at 10:39 p.m. yesterday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on April 17 at 9:30 a.m.

Theft

2450 Main

Jerome T. Graham, 33, of 4215 Oakton St., Skokie, was arrested at 2450 Main St. at 5:46 p.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
