A 40-year-old Evanston man was arrested for arson in connection with a fire on Case Place. This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Michael P. Murphy, 40, of 855 Hinman Ave., was arrested at that address at 2:06 p.m. Tuesday and charged with arson in connection with a fire aboard a stolen 2005 Kia in the 600 block of Case Place on Monday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
