Lookman Mohammed Ashiru, 58, 820 Seward St., was arrested at the Evanston Police station at 1454 Elmwood Ave. at 11:19 a.m. Wednesday and charged with domestic battery. He is scheduled to appear in court at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 19.
Driving under the influence
Emerson and Orrington
Jesus A. Villasenor, 20, 911 Sherman Ave., was arrested at the corner of Emerson Street and Orrington Avenue at 1:22 this morning and charged with driving under the influence. He is scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. Dec. 31.
Theft
2000 Emerson
Unsecured cash was stolen from a single family home in the 2000 block of Emerson Street between 4:30 and 7 a.m. Wednesday.
Traffic
2008 Dempster
Martin J. Freeman, 49, 1567 Ridge Ave., was arrested at 2008 Dempster St. at 12:54 this morning and charged with a traffic violation. He is scheduled to appear in court at 9 a.m. Jan. 17.
