Starting in August Evanston’s Saturday Farmers Market downtown will feature “home-grown artists” displaying their wares along with the more traditional farm-stand produce.

Organizer Emily Guthrie reports 38 artists have already signed up for the five-week event, but there are still more slots available.

An application form is available on the city’s web site.
