New this year at this weekend’s annual Fountain Square Art Festival — a craft beer tasting Saturday evening.
The beer tasting will feature brews from three Evanston companies — Sketchbook, Smylie Brothers and Temperance.
The festival, now in its 36th year, will also feature live jazz on the main stage, an assortment of the area’s best food and a children’s art tent offering lessons and projects.
The festival is descrbed as the largest and oldest fine arts fair on the north shore, with works of more than 150 juried artists featured.
Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday in downtown Evanston.
