The Fountain Square Art Festival, the North Shore’s oldest juried fine art fair, returns for its 33nd year this weekend.
Featuring the works of more than 225 artists, the festival is centered on intersection of Sherman Avenue and Church Street.
The festival also features the a jazz-centric music lineup on its entertainment stage, the cuisine of local restaurants and a children’s tent with hands-on art activities.
It showcases an eclectic mix of art including paintings, sculptures, metalwork, jewelry, glasswork, woodwork, photography, mixed media and more.
Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days. A gate donation of $5 benefits the Evanston Chamber of Commerce.
