A handgun was placed towards the stomach of a victim in the 100 block of Asbury Avenue at about 10 a.m. Monday.

Battery

906 Davis

Cynthia E. Atkins, 60, of 5840 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago, was arrested at 906 Davis St. at 11:24 a.m.  yesterday and charged with battery. She is due in court on Dec. 31 at 9 a.m.

Theft

1600 Sherman

Someone stole alcoholic products from a store in the 1600 block of Sherman Avenue between 9:31 p.m. Monday and 1:51 p.m. yesterday.

1600 Dodge

A bicycle that was secured on the school grounds at Evanston Township High School was stolen between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday.

Traffic

920 Ridge

Jeremy E. Goodnight, 28, of 320 Sherman Ave., was arrested at 920 Ridge Ave. at 11:28 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Dec. 26 at 1:30 p.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
