Assault

670 Pitner

Efren Sotelo-Lemus, 34, of 6635 N. Rockwell St., Chicago, was arrested at 670 Pitner Ave. at 11:13 p.m. yesterday and charged with assault. He is due in court on July 24 at 1:30 p.m.

Battery

2107 Howard

Mokhtar Azadeh, 44, of 2107 Howard St., was arrested at that address at 9:45 a.m. yesterday and charged with domestic battery. He is due in court on June 28 at 9:30 a.m.

Burglary

1600 Simpson

Burglars damaged the lock in an attempt to enter the yard of a home in the 1600 block of Simpson Street at about 6:50 a.m. yesterday.

Drugs

1560 Sherman

Sebastian Oko, 36, of 9074 W. Terrace Drive, Niles, was arrested at 1560 Sherman Ave. at 6:56 p.m. yesterday and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Graffiti

2600 Sheridan

Graffiti was discovered at a park in the 2600 block of Sheridan Road at 1:58 p.m. yesterday.

Robbery

935 Sherman

Greg A. McCoy, 32, was arrested at 935 Sherman Ave. at 6:41 p.m. Tuesday and charged with armed robbery.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
