THEFT

2500 Oakton

A 2010 Chrysler Town and Country vehicle was stolen from a parking lot in the 2500 block of Oakton Street between 5 a.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday. It was recovered the same day.

1800 Emerson

A delivered package was stolen from a residence in the 1800 block of Emerson Street at 4:50 p.m. Monday.

500 Lake

A delivered package was stolen from a residence in the 500 block of Lake Street between 3:18 p.m. and 6 p.m. Thursday.

BURGLARY

2500 Oakton

An unlocked 2001 Chrysler, in a parking lot in the 2500 block of Oakton Avenue, was entered between 5 a.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday.

An unlocked 2011 Nissan, in a parking lot in the 2500 block of Oakton Avenue, was entered between 5 a.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday.

An unlocked 2009 Pontiac, in a parking lot in the 2500 block of Oakton Avenue, was entered between 5 a.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday.

2100 McDaniel

Cash and jewelry were taken by a burglar who gained entry to a residence in the 2100 block of McDaniel Avenue by forcing open the rear door between 2 p.m. and 7:13 p.m. Thursday.

GRAFFITI

Chicago at Howard

Graffiti was discovered on the sidewalk at Chicago Avenue and Howard Street at 10:41 a.m. Thursday.

OTHER

Clark at Benson

Meaqo S. Hall, 48, who told police he was homeless, was arrested at Clark Street and Benson Avenue at 3:19 p.m. Thursday and charged with possession of stolen property.

SHOTS HEARD

500 Michigan

Gunshots were reported in the 500 block of Michigan Avenue at 5 p.m. Wednesday and again at 11:19 p.m. that same day. In Each case, police checked the area, but found nothing.

TRAFFIC

149 Callan

Alejandro Mendoza, 31, of 2220 Touhy Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 149 Callan Ave. at 6:14 p.m. Wednesday and charged with a traffic violation.
