Criminal Damage

1500 Hinman

Someone damaged the rear window of a 2000 Ford in the 1500 block of Hinman Avenue around 6:44 p.m. yesterday.

2000 Orrington

Someone bent the backboard of a residential garage in the 2000 block of Orrington Avenue between 9 p.m. Monday and 7 p.m. yesterday.

Theft

300 Dempster

A baby stroller left unattended in an apartment common area in the 300 block of Dempster Street was stolen between 7 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. yesterday.

1700 Maple

A black Schwinn bicycle locked to a bike rack was stolen in the 1700 block of Maple Avenue between 7 a.m. Saturday and midnight Wednesday.

Traffic

731 South Boulevard

Jonathan M. Cross, 29, of 1612 W. Juneway Terrace, Chicago, was arrested at 731 South Boulevard at 11:45 a.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on July 24 at 9 a.m.

Chicago at Lake

Ronald P. Lynch, 58, of 1458 Chicago Ave., was arrested at Chicago Avenue and Lake Street at 5:03 a.m. today and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on June 21 at 9:30 a.m.

1710 Brown

Charles M. Tinch, 58, of 1716 Dodge Ave., was arrested at 1710 Brown Ave. at 5:10 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on July 12 at 9 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
