A burglar took a backpack from an unsecured garage of a home in the 2400 block of Noyes Street between 8:30 p.m. Sunday and 12:10 p.m. yesterday.

A wallet was taken from an unlocked vehicle in a business parking lot in the 2600 block of Ridge Avenue between 3 p.m. Sunday and midnight Monday.

A burglar attempted to enter an apartment in the 1500 block of Foster Street by kicking a door open around 8 p.m. yesterday.

Someone broke the windshield of a 2014 Subaru in the 1200 block of Lee Street between 11 p.m. Sunday and 1 a.m. yesterday.

Graffiti was discovered on a utility box in the 1000 block of South Boulevard at 10:20 a.m. yesterday.

Someone stole product from a gas station in the 2400 block of Main Street between April 1 and 5 a.m. Sunday.
800 Forest
A catalytic converter was removed from a vehicle in the 800 block of Forest Avenue between noon Friday and noon yesterday.
Traffic
1600 Sherman
Everardo Garcia, 25, of 2502 Touhy Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1600 Sherman Ave. at 11:56 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on May 24 at 9 a.m.
