The Baird & Warner Good Will Network has donated $10,000 to Connections for the Homeless, an Evanston-based nonprofit that helps individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

It’s part of a larger, $50,000 donation Baird & Warner made to Chicago-area nonprofits.

The Baird & Warner Evanston office also collected food, diapers, and toiletries during a “Make a Difference Day”  event.

Broker associates requested donations from shoppers at the Dominick’s store on Green Bay Road in Evanston. Two full vanloads of donations were collected and given to the pantry at Connections for the Homeless.

“Our sense of community and local responsibility has been a core value for Baird & Warner all the way back to our founding in 1855,” said Jennifer Alter Warden, president of residential sales at Baird & Warner, Chicagoland’s largest locally owned independent residential real estate services company.
