Bake425, the “farm-to-crust” bake-at-home pizza chain, plans to reopen the former HomeMade Pizza location on Central Street in Evanston this afternoon.
In a news release, owner Bill Borneman also says a grand opening celebration will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, with fresh-baked samples of local and organic from-scratch pizzas, gluten-free cookies and small-batch sodas.
Menu options include a pizza called “The Omnivore” with bacon, grilled chicken, cherry tomatoes, red onions, arugula, basil and fresh mozzarella atop a butternut squash sauce.
No word yet on a launch date for the planned Bake425 at the former Chicago Avenue HomeMade location in Evanston.
