A Milwaukee bandsaw that was left unattended at a construction site in the 1500 block of Maple Avenue was stolen between noon on Friday and 7 a.m. Monday.

Church at Orrington

Alisha A. Punjwani, 21, of 1637 Orrington Ave., was arrested at Church Street and Orrington Avenue at 5:38 p.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. She is due in court on May 5 at 9 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
