Bandwidth Marketing (http://www.bandwidthmktg.com/) has named Kenneth Hicks to a new position of client services director and managing partner.

“With more than 20 years of experience, Ken’s a highly talented leader with outstanding promotion and shopper marketing credentials,” said Rob Albertson, managing director and founder of Evanston-based Bandwidth Marketing in a statement.

Hicks joins Bandwidth Marketing from The Marketing Store where he was senior vice president, managing partner North America, responsible for U.S. Client Services and building the agency’s retail and shopper marketing practices.  Clients included McDonalds, Coca-Cola, Brown-Forman, AT&T, General Mills and L’Oreal, among others.

“Bandwidth Marketing is exactly the type of agency model that clients are looking for in the shifting marketing tactic landscape – they offer core senior-level talent with deep subject matter knowledge and industry experience that can scale quickly based on the clients’ business objectives,” Hicks said.

Bandwidth Marketing was founded in 2005 by veterans of Wunderman/Y&R and Frankel/Publicis. It is a boutique marketing firm that specializes in consumer and trade advertising, sales promotion, retail and shopper marketing, sponsorship, retail design, brand web-site creation, and strategic consulting on channel marketing, multi-unit retail, and new product innovation.

Bill Smith is the editor and publisher of Evanston Now.
