Bangers & Lace, a Wicker Park tavern that specializes in craft beer, whiskey and sausages, plans to open an outpost in Evanston this fall in the building on Grove downtown that formerly housed The Keg.

Crain’s Chicago Business reports the owners have signed a 15-year lease on half of the building at 810 Grove St..

Evan Oliff, the developer behind the renovation of the property, says he expects to rent the rest of the building to another restaurant.

At 4,200 square feet, the Evanston Bangers & Lace space will be about 30 percent larger than the original location. It will have 32 beers on tap.
