Evanston managed only one hit (by Alex Vergara) and struck out 15 times against a dominant Hersey pitcher to lose its second straight in a 3-0 loss to John Hersey High School today.

Evanston pitcher Charlie Binford struggled with control the first 2 innings but was able to settle down and pitch five innings giving up only three infield hits.  Hersey jumped out on top early with two runs in the first and one in the secondnd.  That was all they needed for the 3-0 victory.

Evanston now heads to Orlando, Fla., for spring break.  The Wildkits will play four games, the first on Monday against TC Willams from Arlington, Va.
