A burglar entered an apartment in the 900 block of Brummel Street through a bedroom window and stole electronics. This among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Burglary

900 Brummel

A Playstation 4 gaming system, a laptop computer, and a cell phone were among items taken from an apartment in the 900 block of Brummel Street that was accessed by a burglar who climbed through the bedroom window between 9 a.m. on Aug. 14 and 2:30 p.m. yesterday.

1900 Colfax

A bicycle was taken from the unlocked garage of a home in the 1900 block of Colfax Street between noon on Aug. 11 and noon the following day.

1000 Foster

A bicycle was stolen from the garage of a home in the 1000 block of Foster Street around noon on June 30.

Criminal Damage

2100 Green Bay

Someone broke a window of a 2010 Honda in the 2100 block of Green Bay Road around 7:15 p.m. yesterday.

Graffiti

600 Linden

Graffiti was discovered at 7 a.m. yesterday in an apartment common area in the 600 block of Linden Place.

Theft

600 Chicago

Hygiene products were taken from Walgreens in the 600 block of Chicago Avenue around 1 p.m. yesterday.

800 Judson

A piece of jewelry was removed from the closet of an apartment in the 800 block of Judson Avenue between 3 p.m. Thursday and 6 p.m. Saturday.

100 Custer

Ryan O. Bailey, 35, of 1406 Chicago Ave., was arrested at 100 Custer Ave. at 6:40 p.m. yesterday and charged with retail theft. He is due in court on Sept. 11 at 9 a.m.

1640 Chicago

Chapman Levon Nelson, 47, of 5724 S. Wabash Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 1640 Chicago Ave. at 11:28 a.m. Monday and charged with retail theft. He is due in court on Sept. 13 at 9 a.m.

Traffic

1600 McCormick

Markell Ritchie, 20, of 431 E. Tulip Drive, Glenwood, was arrested at 1600 McCormick Blvd. at 4:14 a.m. today and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Oct. 4 at 9 a.m.

An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
