The City of Evanston today released bid packages for the fourth round of Neighborhood Stabilization Program rehabilitation work.

The packages will be available for pick-up through Friday, July 15, in Room 3000 of the Civic Center. Proposals will be due by noon on Friday, Aug. 5.

Inspections of the properties are scheduled for two Wednesdays, July 13 and July 20. A detailed schedule is included in the bid package. Inspections are mandatory for bid consideration.

The presubmission conference will be held Friday, July 15, at 10 a.m. in Room 2200 of the Civic Center.

Reports for subcontracts awarded in the first two rounds of bidding, posted on the city website, indicate more than 70 percent of over $1.6 million in contracts went to minority- or woman-owned or Evanston-based businesses.
