THEFT

900 Davis

A wheel was stolen from a Schwinn bicycle that was secured to a bike rack in the 900 block of Davis Street between 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and noon Thursday.

300 Ridge

Someone stole a bicycle light from a parking garage in the 300 block of Ridge Avenue between 1:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

500 Sheridan

A white 2001 Jeep Cherokee was stolen from the 500 block of Sheridan Road around 7:45 a.m. yesterday.

1900 Dempster

A black mountain bicycle secured to a bike rack in the 1900 block of Dempster Street was stolen between 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

2650 California

Anthony M. Bass, 19, of 2215 S. Hamlin Ave., Chicago, was arrested at 2650 S. California Ave., Chicago, at 9:10 a.m. Monday and charged with possession of a stolen vehicle.

BATTERY

265 Ridge

Brandon D. Hawk, 33, of 325 Custer Ave., was arrested at 265 Ridge Ave. at 4:31 p.m. Tuesday and charged with domestic battery.

BURGLARY

2300 Cowper

Miscellaneous items were taken from an unlocked 2001 Volkswagen in the 2300 block of Cowper Avenue around 5:30 a.m. today.

1000 Howard

A burglar who gained entry by unknown means to a commercial building in the 1000 block of Howard Street stole computers from a medical office there at about 7:50 a.m. Wednesday.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

900 Dodge

A window was broken at a Walgreens Pharmacy in the 900 block of Dodge Avenue between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. today.

TRAFFIC

Sherman at Davis

Lorenza Perfecto, 32, of 6429 Maplewood Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Sherman Avenue and Davis Street at 1:09 p.m. Tuesday and charged with a traffic violation.

Emerson at Green Bay

Clayshon D. Robertson, 34, of 4501 Standish Drive, Fort Wayne, Ind., was arrested at Emerson Street and Green Bay Road at 12:29 a.m. today and charged with a traffic violation.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute an assumption of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Court in Skokie.
