900 Judson

Someone attempted to gain access to an apartment unit in the 900 block of Judson Avenue between 7 a.m. and 6:26 p.m. yesterday.

Robbery

900 Davis

Someone was robbed by two teens he met on the train near the Davis Street Chicago Transit Authority station around 4:30 p.m. yesterday.

Theft

1700 Dempster

A bicycle was taken from the yard of a home in the 1700 block of Dempster Street between 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. yesterday.

7574 Western

Rufus R. Duncan, 44, of 1717 W. Northshore Ave., Chicago was arrested at 7574 N. Western Ave., Chicago, at 2:59 a.m. today and charged with retail theft. He is due in court on Aug. 24 at 9 a.m.

Traffic

710 Madison

Hababa Y. Abd Elkarim, 54, of 713 Seward St., was arrested at 710 Madison St. at 7:30 p.m. yesterday and charged with a traffic violation. He is due in court on Aug. 24 at 9 a.m.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
