Bicycles were stolen from the garage of a home on Barton Avenue and a bike rack on Hinman Avenue. These among the stories in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Burglary

300 Barton

An unlocked window provided access for a burglar to the garage of a home in the 300 block of Barton Avenue, where a bicycle was taken around 11:14 p.m. yesterday.

Theft

800 Hinman

A bicycle secured to a bike rack in the 800 block of Hinman Avenue was stolen between 6 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday.

1600 Chicago

Miscellaneous items were taken from the Whole Foods grocery store in the 1600 block of Chicago Avenue around 12:30 p.m. yesterday.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
