Evanston police have received reports of bicycles stolen in the 1600 block of Benson Avenue and in the 2200 block of Sherman Avenue. These among stories included in Friday’s daily crime bulletin.

THEFT
1600 Benson
A secured gray/orange specialized mountain bicycle was stolen in the 1600 block of Benson Avenue between 7:55 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. Thursday.

2200 Sherman
A secured red/black Aggressor GT bicycle was stolen in the 2200 block of Sherman Avenue around midnight on June 15.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE
1000 Ashland
Someone broke the tail light of a 2017 Honda in the 1000 block of Ashland Avenue between 9:13 p.m. Wednesday and 8:13 a.m. Thursday.

2200 Lyons
The windshield of a 2007 Toyota was damaged in the 2200 block of Lyons Street between 9:30 p.m. Thursday and 1:48 a.m. Friday.

400 Florence
Corneilous R. Hughes, 31, of 405 Dodge Ave., was arrested at 400 Florence Ave. at 11:04 p.m. Sunday and charged with criminal damage to property.

TRAFFIC
Abraham Ocampo, 41, of 1945 E. Touhy Ave., Des Plaines, was arrested at 1222 Central St. at 10:55 a.m. Thursday and charged with a traffic violation.

Incidents listed appear among the official reports of the Evanston Police Department. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
