An open door provided access to a home in the 500 block of Ridge Avenue, where a bicycle was stolen between midnight Thursday and 7 a.m. yesterday.
A bicycle that was secured in an apartment common area in the 900 block of Elmwood Avenue was stolen between 7:30 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 a.m. yesterday.
Cash was taken from an unlocked 2014 Kia in the 1500 block of Madison Street between 9 p.m. Sunday and 9:43 a.m. yesterday.
Estanislao Rodriguez-Flores, 28, of 3042 N. Major Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 8:49 a.m. yesterday and charged with battery. He is due in court on Sept. 13 at 9 a.m.
Graffiti was discovered on the sidewalk in the 700 block of Dodge Avenue at 11:36 a.m. yesterday.
Graffiti was discovered at a store in the 2400 block of Main Street at 12:14 p.m. yesterday.
Zoria Avionce Olivera, 18, of 5110 N. Kenmore Ave., Chicago, was arrested at Evanston police headquarters at 10:49 a.m. yesterday and charged with disorderly conduct. A court date has been set for Sept. 6 at 9 a.m.
Malgorzata Siegenfeld, 46, of 830 Hinman Ave., was arrested at 1640 Chicago Ave. at 4:23 p.m. yesterday and charged with theft. She is due in court on Oct. 2 at 9 a.m.
Alexis E. Payne, 45, of 2016 Central St., was arrested at 1640 Chicago Ave. at 3:37 p.m. yesterday and charged with driving under the influence. He is due in court on Sept. 11 at 9 a.m.
An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt, which can only be determined by a court of law. Court appearances take place in Cook County 2nd District Circuit Court in Skokie.
