Several bicycles and a “Black Lives Matter” sign were among the items reported stolen in today’s daily crime bulletin from Evanston police.

Theft

2600 Stewart

A “Black Lives Matter” yard sign was reported stolen from the yard of a home in the 2600 block of Stewart Avenue. The sign disappeared sometime between 10 a.m. Wednesday and 3:04 p.m. Friday.

900 Dobson

Bicycles were stolen from the locked storage area of an apartment building in the 900 block of Dobson Street sometime between 8 p.m. Aug. 9 and 7 a.m. Saturday.

1600 Dodge

A locked bicycle was taken from the grounds of Evanston Township High School sometime between 4 p.m. Thursday and 12:45 p.m. Saturday.

1000 Grove

Someone stole a locked bicycle from the sidewalk in the 1000 block of Grove Street between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.

1300 Chicago

Someone stole an unlocked bicycle from the sidewalk in the 1300 block of Chicago Avenue between 8:30 and 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

800 Judson

Someone stole an unlocked bicycle from the common area of an apartment building in the 800 block of Judson Avenue between 6 and 9 p.m. Friday.

1400 Hinman

Someone removed the licenese plates from a 2004 Jeep, a 2005 Honda and a 2007 Ford parked in a lot in the 1400 block of Hinman Avenue between 7 p.m. Thursday and 7:47 a.m. Friday.

1900 Dempster

Someone stole a cell phone from a business in the 1900 block of Dempster Street about 4:45 p.m. Friday.

1700 Sherman

Someone stole clothes from a store in the 1700 block of Sherman Avenue about 3 p.m. on Saturday.

101 Asbury

Someone stole merchandise from the CVS drug store at 101 Asbury Avenue about 3 p.m. Friday. And then about 3:15 p.m. Friday, someone stole food from the same store. Ryan T. Hendrychs 39, of 1415 Howard St. was arrested at the store at 4:44 p.m. and charged with the second theft. He’s due in court at 9 a.m. on Sept. 13.

Battery

814 Brummel

Laurenne Nguebediang, 19, of 1531 McDaniel Ave., was arrested at 814 Brummel St. at 12:30 p.m. Saturday and charged with domestic battery. She’s due in court at 9 a.m. on Aug. 23.

Burglary

2000 Seward

Someone opened the door of an unlocked 2002 Dodge parked in a garage in the 2000 block of Seward Street between 3 and 6 p.m. Saturday and stole a wallet that had been left in the car.

300 Wesley

Someone stole cash that had been left in an unlocked 2008 Acura parked in the 300 block of Wesley Avenue between 3 p.m Wednesday and 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

800 Main

Someone stole glasses from a 2017 Toyota that had been left unlocked in a parking lot in the 800 block of Main Street between 7:15 a.m. Thursday and 1:05 a.m. Friday.

1000 Grove

Someone stole merchandise that had been left in an unlocked 1995 Toyota parked in the lot of a business in the 1000 block of Grove Street between 1 and 3 p.m. Sunday

1500 Emerson

Someone stole tools from a home in the 1500 block of Emerson Street. The burglar forced open a sliding door to enter the home sometime between 5 p.m. Thursday and 4:28  p.m. Saturday.

Criminal damage

2000 Main

Graffiti was found in the yard of a home in the 2000 block of Main Street at 8:52 a.m. Friday.

2200 Main

Graffiti was found on a daycare facility in the 2200 block of Main Street at 7:26 a.m. Friday and on an office building in the same block at 7:48 a.m. Friday.

2400 Main

Graffiti was found at a department store in the 2400 block of Main Street at 9:16 a.m. Friday.

Dodge at Mulford

Graffiti was found on CTA property at Dodge Avenue and Mulford Street at 1 p.m. Sunday.

1400 Brown

A 2016 Ford was found to have been spray painted in the 1400 block of Brown Avenue at 3;05 a.m. Saturday.

Shots heard

2000 Dodge

A caller reported hearing shots fired in the 2000 block of Dodge Avenue about 11:49 p.m. Friday, but police who checked the area were unable to locate anything.

100 Ashland

A caller reported hearing shots fired in the 1800 block of Ashland Avenue at 12:55 a.m.  Monday, but police who checked the area were unable to locate anything.

Traffic

Asbury at Grove

Brian G. Brammer, 45, of 2609 E. 76th St. in Chicago, was arrested at 4:37 p.m. Friday at Asbury Avenue and Grove Street and charged with a traffic violation. He’s due in court at 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 8
