Evanston Police Department’s next “Coffee with a Cop” event will be conducted in English and Spanish on March 21 at Amanecer Taco Shop.

From time to time, the police schedule this popular event as a community policing effort to give citizens an opportunity to visit on a casual basis with local police officers.

At this first bilingual CWAC event, Spanish speaking officers will be in attendance.

There’s no need to register, the city advises. Just come to 512 Main St. between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. and have a cup on them. Or, as they say, “una taza de café.”
