State Sen.Daniel Biss, a candidate for Illinois governor in 2018, is opening his first field office in Evanston next week.

Supporters have been invited to attend a special opening event on Thursday, July 20, at 6 p.m. at 912 Sherman Ave., according to Joseph Hutton, organizing director of Biss for Illinois.

In an email, Hutton invited supporters “to talk to Daniel about the issues you care about, get some campaign swag, and sign up to get involved.”
