Evanston businessman and community activist Chuck Remen died Friday at the age of 75. Mr. Remen served with distinction for six years on The Evanston Chamber board of directors, was involved in the Governmental Affairs Council and in other areas of the organization.
We will remember Chuck for his outstanding service to the Evanston business community and his commitment to making our city a better place to live and work. Memorial visitation will be held today, Tuesday, May 23, from 5 to 8 p.m., at Wm. H. Scott Funeral Home, 1100 Greenleaf Ave. in Wilmette.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 24, at 10:30 a.m., at First Presbyterian Church of Evanston, 1427 Chicago Ave.
