The Democratic Party of Evanston works toward political and social change.  We are progressive activists who engage, mobilize and organize the public to elect Democrats locally, state-wide and nationally. Our office at 821 Chicago Avenue is currently a hub of activity as people work on campaigns ranging from candidate for State Senator Daniel Biss to US Representative Jan Schakowsky to President Barack Obama.  In addition to button making and phone banking, every Saturday carloads of committed Democrats are going to Iowa to help President Obama win this important battleground state.
