  1. school Bomb threats

This is outrageous however it turns out. I have kids in the Evanston School System and this is a constant nerve wrecking event in my life.

  2. Solution to the “bomb threats”

As we all know, 99.9% of these threats are baseless and made by students who see it as an effective way to disrupt classes and get an early dismissal. We also know, as do the students, that these all must be treated as if they are real.  That being said, a suggestion for school administrators; Make it perfectly clear to all parents/ students that for each day interupted by "bomb threats" two things will occur 1) All after school activities WILL BE CANCELLED- in the name of safety of course. 2) The missed day (Full or half) will result in an additional day added at the end of the year. I would be willing to bet the "bomb threats" would quickly be dismantled.

  3. Prosecute Prankster!

I would like to know what District’s 65 & 202 are doing about locating the individuals or students who perpetrated these pranks.  I hope they take a hard line and prosecute them to the fullest extent even if they are juveniles.

  4. Add missed school day.

Anonymous is right, the missed day (full or half) will result in a make up day at the end of the year.
